Heather and Matt
Wow what a fun day! I just got back from photographing Heather and Matt on the Potomac River for their unique engagement session. It was great getting to know them and taking some beautiful images. We decided to have a camping theme to the session and not do the whole “engagement” thing. We had a blast listening to Matt play the guitar, roasting hotdogs and just goofing off. This two ROCK! Also, many thanks to Moshe Zusman who was photographing with me.

Michelle and Seth
Michelle and Seth’s wedding was as wild and fun as I expected. With the ceremony and reception in the Pentagon City Ritz Carlton, this wedding had elegance and class. Mix that with an outgoing bride and groom and you got one unforgettable event. Here are some images from the big day (and if you dig deep enough into the blog, you can find the unique engagement session too!). Many thanks to Moshe Zusman for an outstanding job. Congrats M&S,

Giin & Sean
Here are a few images from this weekend’s wedding of Giin & Sean. At this wedding I was actually “second Shooting” for Moshe. I had all the fun of photographing a wedding without the pressure, yeah second shooting!

wedding photographers GTG
Last night’s get together with more then 20 local wedding photographers was so much fun. We met at Gordon Biersch in Tyson’s corner VA for some drinks, food and talk. It is always good to see what each photographer is in to and getting some feedback. After spending a few hours together, we all (well, almost all) agreed that we will meet at the coming WPPI convention in Las Vegas. I can’t wait for our next get together.

Las Vegas party
Last Tuesday’s Las Vegas party was a blast to photograph. Moshe and I were covering a “just because” bash at the Mandarin Oriental in DC. AS you can tell… the theme was Las Vegas. There was no shortage of entertainment…. Billy Finch was doing impressions of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, Rodney Dangerfield, Ray Charles and more. He was amazing. The comedian Elon Gold from the TV show “in-laws” and gave a great 1 hour stand-up performance that made everybody hysterical. The party wouldn’t have come together without Rita Bloom, the owner of “Creative Parties” who put it all together to perfection. And one last shout-out to Jennifer Fontine who beautifully transformed the room to a Las Vegas night club. Here are some images………..
